The new DCNM-FSL2 DICENTIS Flush language selector will enable more efficient installations while maintaining the intuitive operation of its predecessor. The new model allows for daisy-chain configuration where devices can be looped through using standard CAT5e (or higher) cabling or a standard PoE switch. The device can also operate in star configuration, where each device is connected to a Power over Ethernet compatible switch with an individual standard CAT‑5e (or better) cable. This can be enabled by flipping a switch on the device.

This approach will bring improvements for integrators as it will reduce both the cost and time required to complete projects. This is due to the reduction in required hardware for a project, with fewer switches and cables required.

Intuitive operation
With the elegantly designed DCNM-FSL2, delegates can conveniently listen to the speaker in their preferred language. Language selection is straightforward and is automatically activated when headphones are connected to the device. The delegate can then scroll through the available languages by pressing the illuminated touch buttons. Available languages are displayed in native characters to enhance readability.

To facilitate language selection, if a preferred language for the participant is defined in the system, the language selector automatically uses the defined language. The volume can also be adjusted via the illuminated touch buttons.

High functionality
Further enhancing the native character language indication, the DCNM-FSL2 supports up to 100 languages. Control is via the four touch buttons alongside the 1.44-inch screen. The display is off when headphones are not connected. The display switches off automatically after no buttons have been used for approximately 8 seconds, to minimize distractions from the meeting. DCNM-FSL2 also features internationally recognized encryption standards. These ensure that information within the system remains confidential.

As with other modules in the DICENTIS Flush family, DCNM-FSL2 is available in customized colors, wood, stone or metal designs.
