Easy configuration

Simple calibration

The correct camera calibration is essential for certain applications. For standard use cases, no calibration is needed, but more advanced use cases require a 3D understanding of the scene. This enables real sizes, object speed, automatic object classification and best-performance long-distance detection and people counting. With an improved UX design, our calibration is simplicity itself for security professionals and users. The latest generation of Bosch video security cameras includes positioning sensors that automatically detect the angle of the camera to the ground. If the camera has a predefined lens, whether fixed or varifocal, the calibration will also know the focal length of the lens. So, the perspective can be taught by simply entering the elevation of the camera.

Pre-configured scenarios

Configuring common Video Analytics scenarios is also quick and easy thanks to pre-configured, default settings for different intrusion, people counting and transportation situations. Depending on the use case, simply calibrate the camera, select and apply the default scenarios, and adjust the fields or lines to the camera’s field of view.

Customize and create tasks

For more complex demands, you can customize alarm tasks or create new ones using the task script editor tool. This enables operators and users to fine-tune or combine pre-defined detection rules. Simply copy and paste the text from the task script editor to multiply or share tasks with other installations or save them as a backup.
