The power and feature-set of these innovative technologies have enabled the company to set the standard in the Iberian Peninsula for AV services and simultaneous translation for events.
Making the right investments
The combination of DICENTIS and INTEGRUS provides ASTI with the perfect mix of functionality and value. The powerful DICENTIS platform means that ASTI can meet the most demanding requirements, particularly for events that demand the highest security. While the training and support it receives ensures it can get the most out of its investment. Having made a considerable investment in the technology through local partner Earpro EES, the systems currently available to ASTI include:

- 66 interpreter consoles
- 5 complete computers (server, APS2, DANTE expander, OMNEO transmitter)
- 70 wireless conference units
- 14 audio processors
- 5 Bosch Security and Safety Systems wireless unit management access points
Supporting customer demands
This equipment has been put to good use, meeting the needs of a number of high-level meetings, such as the meeting of the European Political Community and the informal meeting of EU Heads of State or Government which took place on consecutive days in Granada. More than 100 DICENTIS conference units and five full teams were deployed, covering the plenary hall and four meeting rooms for heads of State. Both projects highlighted the ability to handle highly complex international events, ensuring smooth communication in 23 official languages.
Long-term partnerships
A longer-term project came through the Spanish Presidency of the Council of the European Union. The permanent headquarters for this were installed at IFEMA and ASTI spent five months providing technical and material support at numerous institutional meetings. This saw the team cover the 26 meetings of the Permanent Representation of Spain in the EU Presidency of Government and many other ministries.
International support
Away from its home territory, ASTI has also seen success internationally thanks to its investment in DICENTIS. One example is the World Congress of Psychoanalysts in Paris. From their studio in Madrid, they coordinated 11 simultaneous interpretation booths and remote audio transmission, showing how they can integrate cutting-edge technology in challenging situations.

Having invested heavily in the right quality of equipment, ASTI has set the technical standard for conferences in the Iberian Peninsula. The flexibility and superior performance of DICENTIS, which allows for interpretation in up to 100 languages, along with its security to protect confidential information to the highest standards, have been key to making ASTI a reference provider of simultaneous translation services in the region.
