IVA Pro Vehicle Make Model

Enhance Forensic Search capabilities with real-time recognition of vehicles

Footage of video analytics software that identifies the make and model of a car driving on a country road.

IVA Pro Vehicle Make Model (VMM) recognizes vehicle details in real-time and adds it to the camera's metadata stream. The software detects and identifies the make and model of moving cars, vans, buses, motorcycles, trucks, cars with trailer, trucks with trailer, and semitrailers based on a database of more than 140 manufacturers and 2,000 models at speeds up to 120 km/h (75 mph). This capability enables a more refined forensic search, especially when LPR is restricted or prohibited due to privacy concerns. It can be combined with IVA Pro LPR and IVA Pro Dangerous Goods Signs for a complete solution.

Protect privacy

By adhering to strict data protection laws like GDPR, IVA Pro VMM ensures only vehicle make and model is captured, not license plates, which are considered sensitive personal information. This capability ensures individual privacy and reduces concerns about data misuse, maximizing peace of mind.

Enhance security in city and parking applications

The ability to search for vehicles by make and model enables faster identification in city surveillance and parking areas without violating privacy laws. IVA Pro VMM provides real-time alerts for suspicious vehicles when vehicles matching the description of a suspicious vehicle are detected, improving situational awareness for security teams.

Real-time insights for traffic management

Urban planners can use IVA Pro VMM to analyze traffic patterns and categorize vehicle types passing through certain intersections or areas. This information can help in traffic management and urban planning by identifying trends in vehicle usage, such as increased numbers of trucks or compact cars, without relying on identifying individual vehicles with LPR.
