OMNEO transmitter software update adds full control over audio input sources

Major update significantly extends the application range of the INTEGRUS Wireless Language Distribution System

INT-TXO-UI Audio configurator page

A major software update for the OMNEO transmitter, a key component of the INTEGRUS Wireless Language Distribution System, introduces more operation modes for the OMNEO transmitter: fully controlled by DICENTIS as before, receiving the audio feed including all settings from a DICENTIS conferencing system, or manually controlled to source Dante streams from compatible third-party devices, operating independently of DICENTIS. In the manually controlled mode, it is now possible to choose both DICENTIS and Dante input sources and also gain full control over the system via a user-friendly web interface. This flexibility extensively broadens the potential applications of the INTEGRUS Wireless Language Distribution System beyond traditional conference applications.

All Key features at a glance:

  • Use DICENTIS channels and/or Dante channels in manually controlled mode
  • Fully control and configure the system via a web interface
  • Dashboard view offers a complete overview of the system status
  • Monitor the input levels of each Dante channel in real-time
  • Selecting DICENTIS and Dante mono or stereo inputs and adjusting audio levels
  • Configure the channel number of each Dante channel in real-time

The update opens up a range of new applications for the INTEGRUS Wireless Language Distribution System. In manually controlled mode it can be deployed as a music distribution system for various environments like fitness centers or silent discos, allowing users to choose between different music channels. In multi-language cinemas, audience members can benefit by selecting their preferred audio language – all while watching the same movie show. Further applications include museums, tour guide systems, stage monitoring, interpretation schools where users can simultaneously listen to the original speech and the interpretation language, and more.

The latest software update will allow new markets and use cases to enjoy the established quality and functionality of INTEGRUS. The advances we have made in functionality with this major upgrade have come from user requests as we continue to meet the needs of our wide user base. This latest release highlights that we are continuing to lead the way in conference technology, to meet the evolving needs of the interpretation market while maintaining unmatched security and reliability of dedicated hardware.
