DICENTIS software V 6.1

This software update enables DICENTIS Conference System users to benefit from an extended answer set for voting. The update means that up to four voting options can be presented to attendees. The letters will be displayed on the multimedia device and the device with touch as well as in in the meeting application and Synoptic (the ABCD voting is also available for participants who join remotely). Colors will be displayed on the voting device and voting panel.
A further addition around voting is an option for a participant to not be able to change their vote after it has been cast.
A third voting update now means the system can be set to automatically cast a configured answer, such as abstain, for present participants that did not cast a vote.

DICENTIS software V 6.1 has seen significant changes to the capabilities of Synoptic. Synoptic can now be used to increase and reduce microphone sensitivity of participant devices with a range of -6 dB to +6 dB with 0.5 dB increments. In addition to this, Synoptic can now also be used for discussion management. It is now possible to add and remove participants to the Speakers queue, add and remove participants to the Responders queue, as well as muting and stopping responders directly through Synoptic.

The DICENTIS configuration is stored in an SQL database to safeguard data storage. With the introduction of DICENTIS 6.1, the activities of creating backups and importing databases can now easily be done with a user friendly graphical user interface.

With the introduction of the Participant based licenses in the 5.0 software update the Mediagateway was introduced for video switching. It supports controlling ONVIF-compatible cameras as well as Sony and Panasonic cameras. It supports SDI video switches as well as software video switching. With the software video switching, text overlays, mosaics and multiple output feeds and formats become available. The 6.1 release has added a graphical user interface to make the configuration easier.
