PRAESENSA 1.81 software release

More flexibility by encryption options and Control Interface module support

Software programmer working in Bosch PRAESENSA software

Bosch is pleased to announce a new software release for PRAESENSA, the IP-based public address and voice alarm system that provides high-quality audio for music or messaging.

This new release adds more flexibility by adding a configuration item to disable TLS 1.2 cryptographic protocol on the Open interface. The use of TLS 1.3 only for encrypted data communication results in a higher level of security.

In addition, this latest version fully supports the upcoming PRA-IM16C8 Control Interface module for PRAESENSA, providing easy third-party integration with GPIOs. The new release will be free of charge to download.

What is new in the V 1.81 release?

Users can download the new release for free, and Bosch will continue to provide regular updates, upgrades, and new product introductions throughout the system's lifetime to keep it up-to-date, future-proof and state-of-the-art. PRAESENSA is released in several phases to address the needs of various verticals and country requirements. Consult with your local Bosch representative for more information.
