IVA Pro Buildings automatically detects persons and vehicles while ignoring false triggers, like unwanted sources of motion, such as rain, snow, blowing leaves, lighting changes, or a shaking security camera. The solution provides indoor and outdoor people counting for typical surveillance scenarios (e.g., occupancy or queue length monitoring) and alerts operators when the occupancy level rises above a specific threshold and becomes congested. It keeps a “virtual eye” on buildings and their surroundings by detecting specific objects or persons entering a pre-defined zone or loitering in the premise’s vicinity. With no onsite calibration required, it is easy to use and deploy.

Part of an expert suite of video security analytics, IVA Pro Traffic, based on deep neural networks, supports strategies that enhance mobility, safety, and the efficient use of roadways. By achieving accuracy levels beyond 95 percent in vehicle counting, IVA Pro can replace traditional and expensive to maintain counting methods, for example, ground loops. In addition to giving an accurate count, IVA Pro Traffic offers reliable detection and subclassification of vehicles such as cars, bicycles, buses, motorcycles, and trucks. It can accurately detect and classify pedestrians, even in crowded scenes, to enable safety solutions for vulnerable road users. Autocalibration comes as standard for IVA Pro Traffic. Autocalibration is an automatic AI-based 3D calibration that uses statistics of detected vehicles. Based on metadata generated by the IP camera’s embedded analytics, the feature offers easy, quick, and reliable calibration at the click of a button.

IVA Pro Intelligent Tracking is a new, licensed option that enables the IP camera to detect and separate upright persons, and vehicles to zoom in and follow them even when the security camera is moving. It can continue tracking even when vehicles and pedestrians have temporarily stopped in transit due to traffic lights, traffic jams, or accidents. The new software uses deep learning to analyze and understand more complex vehicle and pedestrian traffic scenarios and situations. This intelligent video analysis of the scene ensures that the selected object is tracked consistently, even if it remains stationary. It also filters out unwanted sources of motion from the surrounding environment such as rain, snow, clouds, leaves, and lighting changes, providing the user with a higher degree of reliability.

IVA Pro Visual Gun Detection* is based on the latest deep neural network-based video analytics designed to detect and separate upright persons and brandished guns and promptly alert personnel who can verify the gun at an early stage and take proactive measures to secure the approach and entry points. It ignores other unwanted sources of motion in the environment, such as rain, snow, clouds, blowing leaves, lighting changes, or a shaking camera. And since the surveillance system is camera-based, security staff can always rely on high-quality video footage for forensics supporting first responders.

IVA Pro Visual Gun Detection can operate independently, but is also compatible with other systems like video management systems, access control, and public address. These integration paths enable additional responses like human verification, locking doors, initiating automated public address and two-way radio announcements, and dictating smart lockdown and evacuation protocols.
